A Little Help Goes a Long Way

I just got back from a 6 mile run and about 5 miles into it I saw this old man with a walker on the sidewalk who appeared completely frozen. As I approached, I thought he was going to say something about my music (I run with a bluetooth speaker, I have almost been hit by cars several times with headphones on and don't wear them anymore as I would love to at least be able to hear my impending death...today I was running with Dieselboy at MAX volume) but instead he motioned me over and said "young man would you be able to do me a favor?" I said "absolutely what is it?" "Could you go to my mailbox and get the mail and put it in this plastic bag so I can carry it inside?" "Sure no problem" I got it for him and he was having trouble holding the plastic bag so I attached it to his walker for him. He was brimming with joy and gratitude just for this one little thing I did for him.
