Addiction is a motherf#@$er. The ends are always the same: jail/prison, institutions, death, or recovery. Fortunately the last option is actually pretty awesome, because it forces us to go on a great spiritual journey, with rewards and feelings far greater than any chemical can induce.

"We stood at a turning point"....time to get busy livin' or get busy dyin'



I wouldn't change my past for all the money in the world. Without it, I wouldn't be experiencing all the good things. Today I'm grateful to understand the meaning of true joy and what I consider to be the real not-so-hidden purpose of life: connection with others and love.
