Today I am grateful for what my father calls the "Otis fast heal". While I do have metal plates in my arm, they are not adamantium and i do not have retractable claws, but we do have some kind of genetic resilience to sustaining major injuries and healing faster than most people. I am grateful I woke up this morning completely pain free. I'm grateful I have an actual amputee room mate (same arm) that is showing me advanced tricks to getting by with only one arm. I'm grateful for all the comedy and support from all of you and that I now have some really good job interviews lined up.
