My mom is one of the most intelligent people I know. She is a writer, an artist, a farmer, a rancher, a comic, a musician, a mediator, an accountant, a five star chef, a baker, a problem solver, a leader, a warrior, a best friend, a perspective shifter, a beacon of light, a wholistic healer. She can literally do anything. She can drive tractors, spin yarn, paint mesmerizing artwork, write compelling articles, give positive life changing advice, tell hilarious jokes, tend sheep, llamas, goats, chickens, and an insane dog. Contrary to popular belief, she didn't actually attend Woodstock, although she has hippyesque tendencies.
Today I am grateful for the woman who brought me into this world some 35 years ago. Happy birthday, mom! I love you!
